PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION, PRIVACY, AND SECURITY POLICY
This Privacy and Security Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the fundamental principles regarding the protection, processing, storage, security, and transfer to third parties of personal data obtained within the scope of the real estate consultancy, portfolio management, leasing, sales, promotion, marketing, and brokerage activities carried out by Future City Real Estate Consultancy Limited Company (“Future City” or the “Company”).
The Company considers the protection, confidentiality, and security of personal data as a top priority and undertakes to act in compliance with the provisions of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and all relevant applicable legislation.
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Policy determines the procedures and principles regarding the collection, processing, transfer, protection, and destruction of personal data obtained during all real estate consultancy services, customer relations, sales, leasing, portfolio promotion, marketing, and advertising activities conducted by Future City.
The Policy covers all personal data collected through Future City’s website, social media accounts, office visits, contract processes, call center communications, emails, and phone interactions.
2. METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may be collected electronically or physically through communication and request forms on our website, social media platforms, phone calls, correspondence, email communications, participation in fairs, office visits, document and contract processes, listing platforms, and our business partners.
These data are processed for the purposes of carrying out the Company’s operations, responding to customer requests, ensuring commercial security, and fulfilling legal obligations.
3. SCOPE OF COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA
Personal data that may be collected by Future City generally fall into the following categories:
- Identity Information: Name, surname, Turkish ID number, nationality information.
- Contact Information: Telephone number, email address, physical address.
- Financial Information: Bank account details, payment receipts, invoice information.
- Real Estate Information: Portfolio details, property characteristics, location, valuation, and appraisal data.
- Visual and Audio Data: Photos and videos taken during promotions, fairs, events, or real estate presentations.
- Transaction Information: Customer requests, document and contract processes, correspondence records, visit and meeting notes.
The Company does not process sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, or religious information). If such data are inadvertently obtained by the Company, they are immediately deleted or anonymized.
4. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Collected personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Conducting real estate purchase–sale, leasing, and portfolio management services,
- Maintaining customer relations and carrying out customer satisfaction activities,
- Executing promotional, advertising, information, and marketing activities,
- Managing contractual processes and fulfilling legal obligations,
- Keeping financial and accounting records,
- Providing information to authorized public institutions and organizations,
- Managing internal workflows and audit processes.
These processing activities are carried out in accordance with the data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where necessary, based on the explicit consent of the data subject.
5. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data are transferred to third parties only to the extent necessary for business purposes and in compliance with the relevant legal regulations. Within this scope, personal data may be shared with business partners, suppliers, consultants, IT infrastructure providers, financial advisors, legal consultants, marketing support service providers, auditors, and authorized public authorities.
Data transfers abroad are made only with your explicit consent or when transfer conditions are met in accordance with the countries designated as safe by the Personal Data Protection Authority or where adequate protection is ensured.
6. DATA SECURITY AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES
Future City carefully implements administrative and technical measures to ensure the protection of personal data. In this context:
- Access controls are implemented on information systems to prevent unauthorized access,
- Data stored electronically are protected through encryption, firewalls, and antivirus software,
- Documents kept in physical form are stored in locked cabinets to prevent unauthorized access,
- Company personnel receive regular training on data security and confidentiality,
- Confidentiality agreements are signed with all third parties that process data on behalf of the Company.
7. STORAGE AND DESTRUCTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data are retained for as long as required to fulfill the purposes for which they were processed. Longer retention periods may apply where required by legal obligations. Once the retention period expires, data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the relevant regulations.
The Company reviews its data retention policies annually and securely disposes of personal data that are no longer necessary. Data retention and destruction activities are carried out within the framework of the Company’s periodic destruction policy.
8. COOKIE POLICY
The Future City website uses cookie technologies to enhance the user experience. Cookies may be used to remember user preferences, perform statistical analyses, and improve service quality. Users can block or customize the use of cookies through their browser settings. The use of non-essential cookies does not begin without the explicit consent of the user.
9. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
In accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects have the following rights:
- To learn whether their personal data are processed,
- To request information if their personal data have been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether their data are used appropriately,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
- To object to the occurrence of a result against them by means of analysis of the data processed solely through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of personal data.
10. APPLICATION METHOD
Data subjects may submit their requests regarding their personal data, along with identification documents, in person, through a notary public, or by registered mail with return receipt to the following address:

Applications will be responded to within thirty (30) days in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK. In cases where additional costs are incurred, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority.
11. ENFORCEMENT AND UPDATES OF THE POLICY
This Policy may be updated in accordance with changes in legal regulations or developments in the Company’s activities. The current version is published on Future City’s official website (www.futurecity.com) for public access.
